think about all the new excuse letters you can write for your tardiness
Dear teacher,
Kent was late today because he had to get a new cane,
Or
Kent was late today because he ran out of denture cream,
Or
Kent was late today because his hearing aid batteries died,
Or
Kent lost his homework assignment, no really, he forgot where he put it.
Or
Kent will be parking on the street this week due to drag racing with the other students in the parking lot

Update
I got another letter today informing me that not only have I been accepted by NMU, but I've been accepted by the A&P school now also.
Now I just have to find some $$$.
I called my congressman's office today. I'm going to start working him to find out why with so many people unemployed and seeking job retraining, why veterans are loosing their benefits because of a "expiration" date. And why they can give money for bank executive parties but not fund earned vet benefits. It'll be interesting to watch him squirm over that one.
