I live in florida and it only gets around 70 degrees over night. In the morning after cycling the glow plugs and proceed to start the truck is seems like it has trouble turning over. It starts but seems like it struggles for the 1st few seconds jumping from 500 too 200 then up to normal idle speed. Then it idles like crap for about 15 seconds until it seems to run smooth. I usually let it idle for about 5 minutes before driving. Is this normal I do i have a problem.

thx

is there any excessive smoke on start up? when you say,"having trouble turning over", do you mean turning over slow? when was the last time oil has been changed? when were the fuel filters last changed?

I don't want to call it slow it just seems like it struggles and runs rough momentarily once its fires and i don't think its normal. Oil and fuel filter were changed 2500 miles ago its currently at 42800

It runs and starts like a champ when its warm. Its just when its cold, usually after sitting for 10 hours or more
