im looking to purchasing a cold air for my truck but am not sure which one to go with.... its an 06 f 250 with a 5in mbrp exhaust and a ppe programmer... let me know which is the better one

You would probably be best off by keeping the OEM set-up.
BUT, if you decided to go aftermarket. AFE stage II is a good system.
I have had very good use with the Banks Ram-Air Intake kit on my 6.0.
