Question Coil spring suspension swap

Has anyone attempted a coil spring front end suspension swap from an 05 or newer Super Duty to a 04 or older leaf spring truck? Someone told me that it is mostly a bolt on affair if you have all the parts from a donor vehicle. I saw a complete coil spring suspension kit from Fab Tech online for the leaf spring trucks but it has got to be big money. I have an Excursion with V code front leaf springs and would like to improve the ride if possible.

If you wanna stay stock height you'd have to get the radius arms springs and all the steering components. The easiest would be to pick up the axle also that way everything is already welded to the axle for the mounting of the components. Course for 3200 you can go with a 6 inch skyjacker z link conversion that would ride like a dream with coil over spring systems.
