clutch or synchronizers?

well i found out the clutch is releasing just fine,so i know its in the tranny,i suppose it could be the forks,but i cant downshift into any gear unless im goin really slow,i also have to upshift slow,but i think a rebuilt trans is almost the same price as having someone goin in mine and fixin it,what do you guys think.

Depends on what is wrong and if they are pulling fixing and putting back.
They aren't tough to work on if you have the tools and the time.
The syncros can be pricey, if you don't have the time to mess with it you will be money ahead to slap another in it most likely.

Yeah I rebuilt a ZF5 a few years ago, the hardest part is getting all the shafts back in place at the same time (there is a tool for this, I didn't have it). Unless your tech is really experienced, go for a reman. :sweet
