Hey guys, brand new to the forum.
Trying to help a friend with his 99 F250.
Truck is a 99 7.3. When pressing in the clutch pedal. nothings happening.
The truck is currently in neutral, so he can start it up, but cant get it into gear.
Hes replaced the slave cyl, but im wondering if this could be related to the master cyl as well. This is kind of where I expect the problem to lie, but im a volkswagen guy, and our fwd transmissions are waaayyy different.
Is there anything internal that i should know about, or look for?
he says theres a panel with about 8 bolts on the side of the tranny casing, is this something i can take off to check the throw out bearing and what not?
Also, is there anything out of the ordinary to dropping the transmission, in case i have to go to that extent?
Thanks in advance.
