Clutch update

Picked her up today. New Luk clutch assy and input shaft and bearings in a six speed manual. Truck is a F250,4X4, 7.3 Diesel. 2000 model. Cost me about half what the dealer would charge for the same repairs.

I highly recommend this transmission shop if you're in need of repairs and you live in the vicinity. I-35 transmissions, 1462 N. I-35,Lancaster,Tx,972-228-9905. Ask for Davey Ambuehl. They give you straight talk about what you need or don't need.

My truck is stock from when I pulled it off the dealer lot. I need some suggestions about some first time modifications. I intend to keep it for another 160,000 miles.

Thanks in advance.

Good to hear! My first Mod would be gauges!!! EGT and boost at least.

Dave

2X^ then help it breathe exhaust and intake 4" turbo back is all you would need I went with an aluminized not stainless it was cheaper and mine is not a show truck. the factory exhaust is aluminized and im sure it still solid. all these mods are easy to do in the drive way.
