Hey guys i haven't been on in awhile ive been building my airboat. But just wanted to give you guys some helpful advice. Ok since ive been building my boat my diesel has been very neglected. I had a clutch masters stage 2 clutch in it that had 30,000k on it when it let go. So me not wanting to go that route again i bought a 200 dollar grip force clutch off of ebay. well i was very surprise to see when i pulled my 800 dollar clutch master clutch out that the one i bought off ebay looked way beefier. the springs looked way bigger and the pedal isn't as stiff. Well once i got it all done i drove the truck for about a week and it decided to let a couple injectors retire. which i was fine with that cause ive been living on borrowed time with them. well i ordered the super kit from Pensacola diesel off of ebay. the kit came with 8 reman injectors new glow plugs and new valve cover harnesses. I got it all done this past tuesday and i couldn't be happier. everything came with a one year warrantee including the clutch. Plus pensacola diesel doesn't charge you a core charge for 30 days so you dont have to eat that up front. all in all i got my truck back on the road for 1300.00 just to see how the little mans parts and work quality are. ill let you guys know how the clutch works out. but so far so good. im not real sure if this is the thread this need to be in but it all pertains to a 7.3 powerstroke with a zf 6 speed.

Well I haven't pulled anything with weight to it yet. My boat only weights 2k. So my truck ain't even working. But I will be moving next month so ill have a 30 foot enclosed car trailer with a whole load of stuff in it. If it holds through that then I will feel its paid for it self and it can do what ever it wants from there.

I'm milking a diesel soaked clutch as long as I can. I'd be curious to hear how it holds up to a good load behind it. My boat weighs 6K dry, minus the trailer.

Hawk I wish i would have taken a picture with them together i was very suprised that the grip force was larger than a clutch masters. But on there eBay site it has a link to the actual pic of it. Just get on there site and read about it. But i will let you know what happens with it. I've put 1000 miles on it so far. I'll be pulling a friends horse trailer this week with 3 horses in it. I will post details on it
