Cleaned EGR and...

well the little valve in there is supposed to move up and down isn't it??? if that is the case maybe it just rattles when you have it in your hand... or are you saying it rattles while driving?? and if it smokes when you don't have the tune in then i would say the egr is bad and because the tune has it off it wouldn't matter if it is good or bad

It rattles when you have it out and u turn it upside down. I believe its ok. No extra smoke only on a high tune. But the coke was damp in the EGR.( the coke deposits were damp-like). Could that be air filter oil?

Probably unburned fuel. I doubt that the air cleaner filter oil would survive the burn cycle.

It probably is unburnt fuel . That makes since since I use it on level 5 a lot. Thanks for your quick response, cheers
