9 times out of 10 made in the USA is better. Better material, and better tolerances. I'm a prototype machinist / metal fabricator. I see chinese metal products fail all the time, running side by side with USA products.

Besides, I won't knowingly support communism unless I have to ;)

Good luck... Draw-tite has a locking pin for the 2.5 inch receiver but I think it is made in china also. The p/n is 63212

big arse bolt with locking nut
125,000psi shear strength
and an odd nut sized you can tturn without the right tool

I'm not sure it gets much clearer than me telling you to go start your own debate thread on pbb, and I'm looking for a locking pin not a bolt. there now I've typed it twice.
