Ran across THIS Manufacturer Site the other day. Kinda scary. Makes you wonder if the recently available new Plunger & Barrels and other parts are made offshore.

Couldn't resist sending them an e-mail and just got a reply. Sure enough they make and export HEUI parts and want to know what items and quantity I'm interested in. Letter closed with
"Waiting for your sonly reply".
Not sure what that translated from but pretty funny:D

I replied to the e-mail asking for more info, as they want part numbers which I don't have.

I wonder how well Chinese injectors would work burning WVO from a Chinese restaurant?

An old piece of linen, some applied friberglass resin, sanding and Fords plastic paint........You've got the best gauge pod I've seen to date. Bryan

Yeah, it wouldn't take much to spiff it up. Even just some wrinkle paint. Down under the dash no one gives it a second look though till I tell them it's just 2" ABS (BTW the state of CA made it illegal for Dealers to sell the matching spray paints due to voc, tho you can buy spray paint at any hardware or paint store  )

I found it looks cooler with an even number top and bottom. The offset gives it a stylish slanted look. Just ignore/cover the end one in the pic to see what I mean.

(the wiring mess in the one pic is the road speed activated switch prototype, a write-up waiting to happen)

The way things are goin with China--WALMART :sorry will soon be a defense contractor. More jobs going overseas. Ordered a SMF assy from a reputable supplier of Powerstroke parts several years ago. Installing it--flywheel marked MADE IN  CHINA. I needed the truck, so I did NOT have the luxury of "sending it back." Working ok, but I am waiting for a failure. The bolts on p-plate have failed so far. Now, I always ask about the "origin of parts"when ordering anything.:dunno BUT that doesn`t always work either! BUYER BEWARE. Becoming increasingly difficult to "buy American."
