anybody have one of these? seems to be a cool idea for frying turkies.
I saw one at academy sprts today, and with the bird frying season aproaching, this could be a good buy

sounds like an outdoor oven more than a fryer though it looks like a turkey fryer.

I guess I just have common sense and know that the turkey will displace oil so I can't fill my pot completely full of oil.

yeah I dont think they should have called this thing a fryer, or infered. Its just a propane oven. My ol lady said she could beer can it in the oven we have in the kitchen. nothing can replace frying. and Darwin was a smart man.

Looks like a big crock pot. I'd have to see one up close before giving an opinion. Great idea and probably much healthier.

Did anyone happen to check out the new show "Time Warp?'

They show things in super slow-mo.

They showed what happens when water meets with the hot grease.

It was a fire-ball about 20 feet high.

COSTCO has these also. I have seen them but haven't looked too close.

I will stick with a nice pot of oil or my smoker.........

One other thing..... if you get one of these what leftovers are you suposed to feed your truck? I am sure they like something that tastes different the frys and chicken all the time.........
