Changing Valve Cover Gasket

Any rods of wisdom, tips, or things to look out for? My driver's side valve cover is leaking a fair amount of oil from the rear and I plane to replace the gasket this weekend.

Pretty much "plug and play" just take off all the stuff around it and replace it. Torque them down accordingly, good to go.

a double jointed monkey with small hands would be helpful




in all seriousness 1/4" ratchet is your friend. keep in mind that these gaskets seal by o-ring so you might just have some that worked loose and do not need to replace the whole gasket.
