CEL with Chip

i recently installed an Edge J/A and i keep setting the CEL light. i don't think that it is a boost issue since i haven't seen it over 25psi. my guess it is the HPOP. with the chip set on 4/5, i get the light before i get to 16-18psi. i would think i could get a little more out of it before i tripped the light.

You can set a over boost code before 20psi, it depends on a few factors. But a ICP code would be my bet too. Pull the codes and tell us whats up...

i didn't write down the codes, but i get overboost and the ICP code. i thought i would have issues with too high of boost before i would start running out of fuel. i didn't think the J/A was a very hot chip. for example i get the CEL when accellerating gently from 0-70 - maybe 12psi of boost. i put this chip on to compensate for the 37's - i should have known those sucker where going to cost me.

Its not fuel that your running out of, its HPO... High pressure Oil. If you get a chip the tuner can tune around that... Also get a Overboost fooler, from ITP Diesel, that will stop the overboost...
