Cat diesel in a pickup?

How does that compare to the new Diesel in the F Series Trucks? Going by the Euro Spec ISB the Cat C7 is actually SMALLER, i wonder why nobody has used the CAT engines yet? Cost? Weight?

i know in heavy trucks they drop in a 3406, inline 6 cylinder.

I've seen a CAT in an old 80's model Chevy 3/4 ton, up near Tulsa, that thing ran like a SOB. Sure beats a cummins swap

Mike, that C-7 300 or 325 HP is the one I think they run in a lot of the big diesel Motor homes that start at around $150.000.

keanoknick, I bet that's the same truck I talked about early. Because he was from somewhere near Tulsa.

I think a C-7 would fit if you did a little firewall massaging, and maybe an outlaw style cowl induction hood.
