Cat delete

I'm looking at changing out the exhaust to either 4 or 5" single. Not sure weather to NOT re-install the converter or not... Has anyone one had any problems with it removed? if so what?

I've also considered removing the converter and stock muffler, then installing a Aero Turbine 3535fx. Anyone running something like this? any problems or idea's?

there are so many options out there now days.... guess I'm just trying to see what has worked better for everyone else!

The cat on these vehicles is nothing but a glorified soot catcher. There's no electronics and despite what people tell you turbos dont need back pressure. I'm running a 4 inch MBRP thats straight piped jones. Love it boost gauge just flies up.

more than 30k w/ my 4" MBRP turbo back & cat delete...no problems here !

160K on mine with no cat, 4" system and no problems. But it sure sounds good

my kitty has been on permanent vacation for about 38k miles
she runs cooler and has a bit more pep
not to mention a whole 2 mpg increase

I had 3.5" dia. pipe laying in the garage so I just deleted the cat and the muffler. My neighbor said it sounds like a jet engine. Is it normal to hear the turbo during idleing. Sounds like a turbine engine.

especially on the 03's right? i think i heard the turbo is a little louder. I cant wait to upgrade my exhaust.

didn`t delete the kitty yet, but i did gut it....the sound is nice ....it will do till i get my 4 inch exhaust system.... ...plus other items....
