Help Needed cant drive t new 6" lift and 37x12.5x17's .....

got a new 6in ProComp lift kit put on my 01 Excursion
new 37x12.5x17 all around....
but I cant drive it because the tires hit the stupid front bumper when I want to turn the corner....
What can I do now???

can you shim it out an inch? verify the air bags are ok with doing this? i bought a truck a while back where the bumper was shimmed out. It looked fine. I dont remember if the air bags were unplugged

Do you know how to trim metal with a power tool. I would suggest a small air grinder or a 4-1/2 side grinder. If those are not on hand you might need professional help or a sawzall. Just take the corner off the bumper and trim it with a corner guard. If that's not a option they do make a bracket that extends the bumper forward. Look at a winch or aftermarket bumper company
