I have a terry 24.5' Camper and I have one dead outlet in the kit. Theres power from Black to ground but dead from black to white, And I'm trying to trace the wire but I can not figer out the way they have it running. Is there a wiring blue print on campers out there??

And theres a GFI in the bath room that trips when you play with these wires and kills the power for the back of the camper.

on most campers the white and the ground share the same return path, just different posts, but use the frame as the common.
i would check the breaker box wiring posts for tightness, they wiggle loose often
all your other outlets work OK ?
make sure you disconnect the mains before you go sticking your paws in teh power box, things in there do BITE

your white is neutral and it is broken or loose somewhere I would look at the next closest outlet that goes out when the gfci trips. campers are almost always daisy chained (one outlet feeds and returns back to the previous one for neutral) if that makes sense.

it's called a parallel circuit.

and you probably have another dead outlet or a broken wire like Jester said.

and I bet if you called Terry, they could give you a wiring diagram (provided they answer the phone...)

Thanks guys, I was able to fix it last night. Had to pull all but two outlets last night and found a bad neutral. I had the help of a little plug tester that tales you if it's a bad neutral, or ground and so on. On another note the plugs they use in this RV suck!! What a POS. The wires were popping out of there locks and some I could not fix so I used a house outlet until I can find the right outlets.

FWIW ? When I saw those Cheap-Azz Outlets... I changed out ALL the outlets, and Switches, to 20amp rated ones... with REAL connector lugs.

Prolly Over-Kill but it sure lets me sleep better.

JMO but I can't believe the RV industry even allows the use of those POS things, for the reasons you mentioned. It's all bout Production Volume I guess.
