It was a bit wet and messy today. I think our power is still out but we are running on the generator. Had quite a few big trees break across the road. No problems at home here though. It would be good to get the lakes filled up again.

In town there were tons of intersections out or on flash and street signs ripped off etc. Big storm for this area I guess.

We have not seen much on storm #3, a little breezy, but not much rain. You guys on the coast received much more rain than we did.

Déjà vu all over again. This season's second trifecta of storms is at my doorstep. I expect to see 6" of rain, mud slides, small stream flooding and a soggy mess for the next few days. The generator is full of gas :)sorry and ashamed it's not diesel) and my fire wood is dry.

Same here.. I can see the leading edge of # 3, off to the west. We're ready. Brought the Lantern in, couple'a Candles ready, split more firewood and the Generator is Topped Off... Just in case.

Local news is saying that because of standing water/saturated ground..expect power outages.

Have'n grown up in Oregon, on the slopes of Mt. Hood.. this has been some Real Rain. The Snow Pack is Good Thing too... for the Farmers.

THESE will change drastically by next week! :sweet

I hear ya. ;tu

Several years ago I went on a Snow Survey with a Hydrologist (friend of a Farmer friend thing). Theres Alot more to that Snow Pack thing than meets the eye. Very, Very interesting. Good Snow & Bad Snow thing. (Snow shoes are a B**ch to walk in bye the way:) ;) )

Went to an Ag meeting last night.. Projected Local Crop/Ditch water is Look'n purdy Good, for now.

Again.... Let'r Rip;tu
