CAC ON OBS - few ?'s

i have my CAC, and soon will be getting an early 99 spyder. i searched through a few threads to find info....this one brought a question to mind:

MY QUESTION.....can i use the early 99 spyder, and another years manifolds to keep the 2 3/8" all the way, rather than using a step boot? if yes, what year manifolds will work, and will i have any other fitment issues?

im not 100% sure about this but i belive the early 99 intakes will fit your 97.count the bolts that hold them on.they changed the intakes a couple times.have you tryed gtsmotorsports yet?he was makeing a complete install kit.its a very nice kit as well.but im not sure if he is still makeing them.

i have heard more complaints than good things from other people on various forums.....i dont feel like dealing with the bs, and i can get my employee discount at the ford dealer i previously worked at, so his kit is way more money than i plan on spending.

Early 99 Intake is what you would need.

I run 99 intakes on mine. Bought them new from Ford, can not recall how much they were. I do have a spider from you know who!
