its a good idea to replace them atleast once a year.

Rich you need to rethink that statement. I would suggest ohm testing them individualy once a year, and then decide if you want to pull the covers and change 'em out if you got a couple that go bad, but not change all every year, that's throwing away money......

i replace mine every fall whether it needs it or not.keeps them from getting stuck
