grease, yes i did use the slimy snot they sent.

axle ones about 8 minutes total. so no time for beer....

link ones; minus the dinkin around drive time about another 8 minutes to bolt up. i did upgrade to G8 bolts & nylon nuts. 5/8" ratchet is lots easier than an 18mm and 14mm for the nut and bolt. what idiot thought of that....

taking the bar & drop links down takes all 10min if youve got an
air gun...15 w/out (and thats if youre moving slow).

removing the bushings (if torn) from the drop links is the problem...
and you really do need to press the metal collar (surrounding the
factory bushings) out.

inserting the NEW bushings can be done w/ a block & hammer or
vise (no press needed)...and then another 10 min. or so to bolt the
bar & drop links back in place.

I bought ENERGY SUSPENSION bushings for my front sway bar
and drop links (one "kit" contains bushings for the top and bottom
of each drop link & 2 bushings for the sway bar).

I got the bushings from Summit Racing dot com...35 bucks.

99-04 4wd partn numbers:
355-4-5186G (G=Black)
4-5186R (R= Red)

gol-dangit BP...your better n Wikopdea when it comes to SDs...I just replaced my front n back for the second time....will try n plan ahead n get those for next time around:hail

im all about sharin' what i know...i cant stand what i do for a living
anymore so the way i get satisfaction is by messin' round w/ our
truck, cars & motos.

im just glad i have some info i can share w/ yall...god knows theres
a whole lot smarter folks 'round here than i...
