I'm surprised that all of it went at once. Seems as though they did the right thing by not stopping the Twins baseball game early, which would have added thousands more to the already crowded streets. Of course, now there's a demand to check all bridges of this type throughout the nation. Why haven't these already been checked? It's like closing the gate after the horse is out. Paul Harvey had a good comment that this could be a wakeup call from God to take care of our own people first.
