go to Walgreens and buy a blood pressure cuff

weasel the cuff through the door seal at the upper rear corner...

pump the cuff untill it wedges the door open enough to poke the hillbilly slimjim through the opening and trip the lock button

That is the method we use most to get children out of locked vehicles. Unless it's hot, then it is a spring punch to the window. :D

Call a locksmith if you can wait a few min. That is ALWAYS gonna be cheaper than breaking glass. Hopefully my door keypad thinghy will always work...

Hadn't you gotten into that truck yet? Your ins should pay for a locksmith to come to where ever the truck is and unlock it.

Truck was unlocked this morning by the locksmith. $40 for 5 seconds of work....damn, our trucks are easy to get into!:(

And, of course, I found the spare key.......inside the :cussing: truck!!! I see beer in my future....lots of it! :drink

if you remember to put a spare key on the truck somewhere you might be better off using bailing wire and strapping it to the frame somewhere. The magnetic ones tend to vibrate and fall off. AAA has always saved me.

AAA does there job rather well. Only had to use them once once for locking the keys in the X. A couple months after the fact finally go the door keypad number.

Used a coat hanger on the old 99 F150 and this past Winter on the 99 Neon RT.
