hello, i pulled me rear drums to find one side is missing half of the braided cable that runs from the top to the bottom, it's about 6 to 8" long. i'd like to replace it but i dont know what to ask for?

also, this is just for the parking brake right? having it disconnected won't effect my pedal braking at all will it?

one more thing... is my truck a super duty? i heard it depends on the lug count? i have 8 lugs.

thanks!

Your truck would not be considered a SuperDuty as those (I think) were for the F450 models in our vintage. Anyway the cable should be for the self-adjusting actuator. You might be able to get it in a "brake hardware kit" available from most decent autoparts places. Either that or it comes with new shoes. Check with the parts place, though. Cheers!
