brake light ?

The brake light on the dash comes on right after I push in the brake pedal and goes out soon after I release the brake pedal, what's the matter?

check your brake fluid. you may have a leak somewhere(brake line, wheel cylinder/caliper)

may also be master cylinder is worn out....

X2.... I think the fluid is low. I would bet the reservoir is just low enough that when the master cylinder makes its stroke, it pulls the level down enough to make the light go on. Then when you release the pedal, fluid returns, and the light goes off.

Could also be a weak vacuum pump. Cheers!

Fluid level is full and I can't find any leaks also bleed all four corners. If I pump the pedal a couple times the light will come on and the pedal will get hard and it will be hard stopping.

if you can, check how much vaccum the pump is putting out(may have to a vaccum guage on it). Patrick may be right and the pump is getting weak....

parking brake light, I'll see if we have a vacuum gauge around. Where is a good place to get a vacuum pump are some better then others?

It's got about 8 but will drop to 3 when you push the pedal and release.
