Question Brake hold down help

Rear dulie 12x3 brakes is thier a special tool for the hold down springs....thay are a PITA...why did thay change from the round spring and cup with the straight pin to this style....its a 97 F350 DRW 10.5 sterling :dizzy thanks

yeah there is.. looks similar to an F-tool for fan belts..
I hate to tell you how long that style hold-down has been in use..

im sure you already got it fixed but all you need is a flat head screw driver with a notch ground into the tip.the tool for removing door panels works as well.

I was down thier dropping off a truck for work with my boss no time to socialize......that ass wont even stop for coffie...on company time.....:dunno
