I have met Boyd and done work for him. He is an ass. And that was before he filed bankruptcy the first time, and had his original wife.

How come? I would agree with you, since he plays quite the ass (although not nearly as much as his obnoxious loudmouth shop manager) on the show but I'm curious why you don't like him.

That is funny. Glad that happened to them, hope they show it on the show. Will have to keep an eye out. I am with Bama on Chip Foose is the best car builder.

Foose made BOyd what he is. He used to work for Boyd, and that is why Boyd does not like him very much. Thinks he wasn't loyal for going out on his own. I like Foose because every car is unique and built with a plan. Boyd just builds boyd cars.

I used to watch Boyd's show on ocassion. After a while, it became evident he is nothing other than a self righteous, pompous ass. After observing the way he treats his people, it's obvious to most anyone he is very lacking in people & supervisory skills.

I agree look at the turn over rate for his shop .... everytime they are letting people go and hirin all the time. They are always late or rushing a build no time to do it right. Always a rush not good for the crew or buyer.
