New Owner! Bought my first diesel truck

Never owned a diesel before and wanted to do some research to increase my knowledge about them. I bought a new 2008 F250 4x2 super cab, mainly to pull my travel trailer. The truck had sat on the dealers lot for over a year so they really wanted to get rid of it. The superduty is replacing a 3/4 ton Suburban that had the 6.0 liter engine in it. I wanted something with a little more pulling power, I felt like I was being overly rough on the Suburban at times when pulling hills.

Thanks for the welcome. I bought my first upgrade for the truck today. I got some factory polished 18" rims and tires. Found them on Craigslist for $325.00 and they look way better than the steelies that came on it.
