Boring out injectors

Does anyone know how to bore out your injectors? They says on the some websites performance injectors a bored to .040. Well why cant you do that your self with a .040 drill bit and save 2100 dollars .

one oops and you just flushed $2100... Besides that, there are multiple holes, you think you'll be able to keep the bit square and not introduce any new angles in hardened steel?

Injectors on a powerstroke are way more complicated than the older mechanical injection diesels. They're really hard to modfiy, why do you think that makers of after-market injectors charge so much? You'll probably screw them all up and end up needing new ones.
