I am posting this here because you guys always seem to find things that nobody else can find. I am looking at buying another boat actually two of them, quick buy and sell with a profit. One of them is a baja I had one so I know what it looks like, but the other is a 1990 Wellcraft Phantom 20SC with a SM350 supercharged from the factory. It is really a cool looking boat but only have one picture on the boat and I can't find anything on the net about this boat or any other pics. So I am asking for ya'lls help on this one.

Here is the only pic that I have of the boat. Thanks for the help guys.

i take it the "20SC" means 20ft SuperCharged ;)

amazing what little there is on the
net about this boat model.

im getting more hits UK (as in
other side of the big pond) related
than US.

makes me wonder...are parts easy
to find ???

Thanks for the replies Bush. I talked to the owner this morning and he told me that there were only 12 of these boats that were made by Wellcraft. It comes from their offshore race design. He is suppost to be emailing me more pics, when I get them in I'll post them here so you can see. That is a good point about parts and he said that wellcraft will carry any parts needed for this boat in the 15 years that he has owned it he has not had any trouble with it. All maintance done by service tech with all reciepts to account. We will see.

O' that baja is in Tomball so if I go and look at it Bush I'll give you a call maybe we can have a cold one. If you are in town from all yer travelin you do now.

a cold one is ALWAYS welcome...

as for parts availablity...i thought mfgs only had to
contractually commit to provide parts for 10yrs...
im sure theres a TON of loop holes in that legal lang. but
the other issue i could see in this is that if parts are
ONLY avail. via the mfg they could be 'SPENSIVE w/
a CAPITAL $ sign ;)

check the owners provided repair service receipts
to get a feel for the FREQUENCY & COST of the beast !

im in bentonville <again> til friday...around for the weekend
and then BACK in bentonville again next tuesday thru friday !

Just picked up a center console and now going to trade it for a harley davidson, I'll know more on Friday about that. Bush is that the schedule that you run? Home on the weekends gone during the week? We'll get together weather is to nice not to. Have a safe drive home.

for the moment thats the schedule...although it changes
on short notice.

my desire would be to make the arkansas visits thursday & friday
(flying up late wednesday & home late afternoon on fridays).

its crazy right now...every time i try to save some money in
airfare and book "cheap" tickets something "urgent" comes
up and i have to change (doubling my airfare) :dunno

nice...lookin' a bit "dated" though.

theres some "weathering" on the
hose ends in the engine bay...
i guess its typical for a boat.
