I have the blue DT466 sensor in the X and it does make a difference in the over all running, quietness and seems a little more peppy. I don't drive the X much this time of year, have a old 92 Exploder for that, but I was impresses with what it has done so far.
For the 100 bucks, I would say it is worth it. :dunno
I have spent more money on stupider things.:sweet

FMT,

I agree. It does make a difference, a positive difference, in all the ways you mention. I am also impressed.

"They" are beating this thing to a pulp "Over There", with Rocket Science, Theory and pure conjecture. But I'll Cut to the Chase and say:

What Ever the DT466 CPS does, and How Ever it does it... The DT466 CPS is my CPS of choice for a CPS for my truck, from here on out. It is, and will be, a permanent replacement part for my truck.

I'm not one to "recommend" much. You makes yer choices, You pays yer money and you takes yer chances. But I would recommend this 466 CPS if yer about to replace yours. As FMT sez; For the 100 bucks (Isay: a tank of fuel) it's worth it.

:sweet

The only difference I can tell with mine is the fuel mileage.

21.0 @ 80mph
23.2 @ 70mph
23.6 @ 65mph
25.6 @ 45-60 following an oversize load that I was escorting.

These numbers are up by about 3 mpg across the board. I cant say that the blue CPS did it all, I did add a tymar intake at the same time, but whatever has happened to my truck- I LIKE IT!!!! :thumbs

Well if you were behing the OL then you might have benifited from the slipstream. I am not sure if it is in my head but I think that the blue CPS is smoothed out my idle and increased a tad bit more power. Again maybe the placebo effect. I am also seeing better milage as well though; city 17.5-18.5

Yes, this same part number can be used in a 97 with the same sorts of benefits.
