Ran it down the highway for several hours yesterday about an hr from home torque converter locked up and that was all she wrote. Burnt up the trans fluid. Im thinking the torque converter solenoid went bad and just wrecked the tranny. So soon to come a fully built transmission with bullet torque converter and flex plate along with amsoil atf and some other goodies for it.

On another note changed to amsoil 15-40 in the motor and went from burning 1qt every 2k to absolutly nothing at all in 2k. Got to love amsoil its great stuff.

If I were in your situation, I would definitely take a look at getting a tranny from Brain's Truck Shop (BTS). Cheers!

Im having a local race shop build it. Janis Transmission of Akron Ohio. He builds custom transmissions for 8 sec Buick Grand Nationals race cars and heavy built trannys for trucks. Cant wait to see this bill.
