Anyone here have a blood pressure spike? Normally my blood pressure is in the 140 over 80 range, but yesterday morning it went up to 202 over 115. I had to go to the emergency room, and was given a Catapres pill. In about 45 minutes, the pressure came down to 128 over 70.
Doctor said that he did not know why the sudden high pressure. I am fortunate that I did not have a stroke. This morning it was 167 over 90, before taking my pill, so something is going on.
Maybe it was from getting mad about Bushpilots truck being broken into. :)
Oh well, getting old is not for sissy's.

Bush,,, I was joking with you... I am sure that it is just something going wrong as I am getting older. I see the doctor today, and will get a complete blood workup, to see if they can find the cause.

I thought maybe you'd heard your RV with the right color carpet wouldn't be ready until August or something.

Back years ago when I was in great shape, the same thing happened to me all the time. I found that Sodium Nitrate which is use as a lunch meat preservative caused it. I don't do lunch meats or any thing with that in it if possible.

One of the things that came to my mind, while at the hospital was damn... I might die before getting the Wildcat 5th wheel. Kind of stupid,, but that was what came into my thoughts. Of course the first thing, was how my wife was going to deal with everything after I was gone. The good feeling is that I know that when I die, I will be with God in heaven. It is a calming feeling. We are all going to die, it is just the "when" is what we do not know about.

JimmyDee; thanks for the suggestion. I have not eaten anything lately that has
Sodium Nitrate in any vast quantities. As I try to figure out why,, I think part of it is being less active since the hip replacement surgery. Now I am starting to walk more, and possibly contributed to another problem to cause this.

Man, I sure hope the reports you get back are good news. Will have you in our prayers. It is real nice down here in the RGV. We had a Hitch Hikers get together today over at Mr. Gattis Pizza and there were about 60 people who showed up. Life is good.

I'm sure my bp shot up when a cute nurse asked if I would like her to set my clock.

I wonder if God has a decent, bug free RV park with full hook-ups where all the sites are on the eastern shore and where you can every evening, watch the sunsets over the water while sitting next to the campfire?
