My latest <summary> report from blackstone.
My last report showed 1.5% fuel and i was concerned
that i was having some leakage.
My latest report (now 3k + miles behind my current odo
reading) shows there is nothing to be concerned about.
I typically change the dino rotella @ 5k <give or take some>
and this time the mileage got away from me a little....I have
run slightly more that 6500mi before and all indications were
that i had no measurealbe increase in additional insolubles.
the truck continues to serve me well...no coolant has EVER
been detected in my oil.
these reports (and the 20 odd bucks they cost) go a LONG
LONG way to putting my mind at ease and proving the 6.0L *IS*
a GREAT engine !

DON:
The low and steady wear trends that your engine produces are some of
the best indicators that we know of that an engine is operated and
maintained well. This oil was run longer than most in recent history
and we think that you could easily use 5,800 miles as a standard oil
change interval. A minor amount of fuel was found but no other
harmful contaminants were present. Fuel at this level, present at
just 0.5%, isn't a problem and is likely due to city driving.
At 62,500 miles we have no problems to report.
