bio question

Got a question for you guys, I was told about a guy who sold bio diesel so I went and put 14 gallong on my 2000 super duty,seems to run ok so far, Just wondering if I had to install a special filter?

whats a gallon of bio diesel cost at a regular retailer?im driving from dallas tx to orlando fl this weekend

You don't need a special filter, but carrying a spare should your become clogged is a good idea.

Pump prices for bio tend to be all over the board....but generally speaking, B100 will be a bit more expensive than regular diesel. I'm not near a pump, so I can't speak for how the market is right now. It's been probably 2 years since I purchased full strength biodiesel at a pump.

I made some calls and found out it does cost more than regular diesel, I found a guy locally who mixes hes own bio diesel and sells it on the DL for about $2.00 less than diesel, looking for someone than I can buy it from on my road trip this weekend, going from dallas tx to miami fl........feel free to pm me....:)
