My autometer fuel pressure isolator issue continues... I have been in contact with the sales person and have found out the pressure isolator diaphragm is viton BUT the housing and internal walls in fuel contact are indeed brass.

Since I am running B100 as frequently as possible (and so far it has been over a month uninterrupted) what will this mean for my isolator housing? I know there is some sort of reaction but what kind and to what extent are we talking about? Should I care?

The only part I am short at this point is the hose from my regulator to the isolator.

Thanks!

on edit - a search only found me one relevant post - it suggested that this reaction issue would only be by oxidation which would be avoided on any part always submerged and not exposed to oxygen. Clearly, the inside of an isolator would be always filled so maybe I wont have any issue? What do y'all think?

true, but it is a hell of a lot cheaper than fixing it later!

I wasnt concerned the brass would give out as much as I wondered if crap would grow and affect the rest of the fuel system.

I plan to get this done soon,.

The brass will have a slight reaction, possibly causing a bit of stain on a downstream filter, but not enough to cause any real problems. I have some brass in my system, as do alot of others. I wouldn't stress over it at all.
