the more area you cover with the wiper blade, the less force the spring on the wiper arm can exert per inch of wiper blade....

Shouldn't matter though.

so are you saying that putting a bigger wiper blade could reduce the effectiveness?

huh that makes no sense at all the blades lay flat and still squeegee the windshield. I've yet to see anyone wear out a set of wiper springs so i'll stick with my 24's

yeah, like i said, shouldn't matter. I could see it maybe becoming an issue at high speeds with lots of rain, but even then probably still not.

im runnin' 22's only cause i couldnt remember what size id put on last
time...the 20's (from the factory) leave a tremendous of viewing area
un-clean...not as much an issue in the rain but in snow f'git about it !

next time ill put 24s on it <again>
