BIG PROBLEMS!!!!!

i got my scanner so i can run a buzz and contribution test.but im affraid to run it to warm it up for the CCT.but i guess i gotta take a chance and run it.hopefully the CCT will tel me wich cylinder has the problem so i dont have to pull all 8 injectors.

ok i just went out and fired her up to warm up so i can run the CCT on it.its doesnt seem to be skipping but its still smokeing like a frieght train.but its white smoke.dont smell like coolant,still smells like pure diesel

okay well CCT says cylinder 7 contribution/balance fault.wich one is number 7?i forget.ill have to get the tools tonight to pull thatinjector.

I think 7 is the rear hole on the pass. side of engine.

its not that bad.especially with how many times ive had them out and back in in the beginning.theyre all a PITA cuz of the intercooler and fuel pressure regulator.and by the way my fuel pressure at idle is around 68PSI

spoke to beanthis morning,he thinks its an injector.but i forgot to get the needed tools to tear into it.ryans gonna give me a smokin deal on an injector if i need one.cant ask for better customer service!!!!!!!!!! as i said before bean IS THE MAN!!!!!

I agree with you there I talked to him on the phone and he was more then helpful with any questions I had about injectors.
