And this week I had read a story where AT&T is opening a new call center in Indiana, bringing back something like 400 jobs back from overseas.
One day last week I was in a shop down in Progresso Mexico talking to a man from Canada, and he was telling me he worked for a company out of southern CA. and they had moved there plant to Mexico a few years ago because of the cheap labor. They have found out that they are not saving that much money by having things made there. The eclectic power to run the place was costing more and so was the permits for there place to run like it had in CA.
He also made the statement that who ever was making the sale talks to get companies to move to Mexico were doing one heck of a sales job to these companies.

You can also consider quality control. How many parts get scrapped at an American plant compared to a Mexican plant. I bet the mexicans scrap more. Cost would obviously come into play if you have a lower turnout rate.
