Got some very small chips/rust spots on the hood of my truck. Biggest chip size is about 1/4" and the biggest rust spot is the size of a ball point pin. I know these are very minor defects, but I've seen what happens over a short period of time if it isnt taken care of.

So just wanted to get ideas from you guys about any possible fixes. I've heard of paint burning by a paint shop, but I've also seen little paint bottles categorized by manufacurer (Ford, Chevy, etc) at autozone...doesn't seem to professional but I've never used it. Any input is appreciated. Thanks for the help.

The ONLY thing that works for rust is to remove it completely and do a fresh repaint. There are a hundred of Cures for rust, but they don't work. I will leave the chips to you.
