If you want a good power adder, get a chip from DP-Tuner or Tony Wildman.

If you want a scanner, get an AutoEnginuity with the Ford enhanced capability. Not only will it read all the Powerstoke codes, but it'll run the various built in tests also, injector buzz, cyl. contribution etc.

If you want something that looks like and tastes like an apple, get an apple.
If you want something that looks like and tastes like a banana, get a banana.

Don't expect a fruit salad to exactly taste or look like one or the other.

I think a lot of you are missing the point of my op. I'm looking for your opinions on which programer that also scans codes is best for the 7.3. I don't have much money and I'd like to spend it on 1 thing, not a chip and an expensive scanner.

the edge evolution was not bad for the short time i had borrowed one, reads/clears faults and had good power settings.

I've heard the same thing.

Good idea.. see if you can borrow a Tuner/Scanner for time?

Not knowing how much, "Not To Much Money on one", is.. It's hard to form and pas on an Opinion.

I keep mine on the 60hp econo setting and really have to hold it down HARD to get up to 1200. any other time i can punch it up to 900 fairly easily, but i have never turned it up high. but so far im really happy with the power delivery and way it has helped the truck.
