I am bouncing the idea of ordering one of the Big Sky Racks Inc. Under Cover Bar series they put in police cars and the like and the ELS300 electro lock to go with it for carrying my AR variant or shotgun, so that is locked and STAYS locked in my truck those times I carry around DFW or in to South Tx when I go visitin.

True not the cheapest way to go, but would be secure

I need to find or build a custom lock box for my weapons that I carry to and from work.
