I havent been doing much posting on any of the forums, and although I was around when everyone migrated here, I sorta sat on both fences and have been surfing.

Anyway, I traded my 02 7.3 XLT S/C 4x4 for an 07 6.0 Lariat C/C 4X4

What a nice truck, however after a Tipton Computer, 4 inch turbo back, and the Sonnax/Tricumulator in the 7.3, the 6.0 currently feels a little doggy

We'll soon get to this one :) although right now 120 miles on it and I am going to give it at least until 1 Jan to break in :)

Anyway, back on the forums posting after a relatively long break!

Glad to have you back. I think you will enjoy that new truck. Sure have enjoyed 18000+ miles in mine this past year.

Thanks!

I am going to put my Snugtop shell on this week, then next week doing a 10hr or so run to Disney World. Should be able to get it good and warm, unlike here with a lot of stop and go driving

After that I am thinking about losing the kitty and adding a mild programmer with a hard shift. I think I like the 5 speed, but I miss the hard shifts of the last truck!

I am quickly digging through the 6.0 forums to get educated LOL any warnings I need to know quickly?

Give some thought to adding a coolant filter...buy a couple of
extra filters...the 1st one plugs up quickly !

youve got a low mileage truck...and the coolant filter will trap
all the sand an bs that didnt get washed out when they put
the motor together...my 1st filter plugged in less than 1000mi...

capturing the sand & crud in the coolant made it MUCH easier
to check/see the fluid level in the degauss bottle on the fire
wall too.
