I'm hoping someone else has come across this in the past and can help!

I have a 2005 PSD SuperDuty and I'm looking for the bed rail cap plugs.

The removable plastic plugs that insert into the bed rail cap.

The plugs cover the holes you would use to tie down a bed load or the holes you would install the uprights for a ladder rack.

The previous owner of my truck must have removed them. I'd like to get a new set to cover up the unsightly holes.

I called two local Ford dealers and they have no part listing at all or so they say.

Has anyone here ever been successful finding these plugs??? Maybe have a part # I could give the monkeys behind the parts counter???

Thanx in advance for any help.

I removed those plugs and threw them away. I have lumber racks so I need those holes. I have no idea of a part number.

Dave if you lived closer, I'd be dumpster diving for these plugs!

They are a factory item, these trucks all came with them stock.

I sold Fords for seven years. The fact that the parts department can't pull up a part # baffles me.

You would be diving about 5 years in the past. I just looked in my garage for these, no joy. Sorry jet.

Whoa, Easy there....:) Wasn't doubting your word, or the facts. Just suggesting another approach, or Food for Thought. (like Bed Rail Covers.. w/No Caps or Plugs, from another year ?)

I'm out. Good luck.;):)

Sounds like only available if you replace the whole cap. What about gettin those anchors that go in those holes that are flush when not in use and you can push on them and a hoop or hook pops up like magic?? I've seen sears carrys them online and I imagine any truck accessory place has them. They look very cool too. I know you can get them in chrome.
