So I'm getting my new truck soon, and was pondering this very same thing. Here's what i'm concerned with. Chipping from shovels and hard items being tossed in. And pallets being put in with a forklift. I guess the shovel thing was answered. I'm a contractor, so tools go in and out, same with lumber and materials. I have a dump trailer that we use for scrap, so no biggy. But I do load pallets of rock salt in the winter, and concrete here and there on pallets. Can you load and slide the pallet in? Or does it bind on the liner when you have it tilted? I could take the tailgate off and load it in if i had too, but picking it up, sliding it, dropping it, backing up, pushing it again.... is easier then denting the tailgate! Anyone got an answer on this one?

Thanks, Dan
