Battery Light?

Alright, battery cables good an tight. Batteries only few months old. And the gauge in the dash never moved from normal resting place? Any thoughts as to why the battery light would come on an stay on? Thanks.

Alternator not charging.

check the alt. with a volt ohm meter!

i had the same thing, It was the alternater

yep replaced alterntor with, problem solved. Gettin kinda anxious to see what else is gonna break now? Gettin to be an every week sorta thing.

Glad the alt fixed the problem. On trucks as old as yours and mine we have to expect the normal wear items to begin to fail from time to time.
