Banks wheel

I am installing a Banks wheel upgrade for the turbo and was wondering if there is any tricks that i need to know so that i don't have to remove the turbo. I have been told that there is a way to do it with the turbo on, but thought some of you that have done it might tell me what to look for. thanks

In a word ? No. It does'nt Solve "Surge" but reduces it conciderably. A TAG can enhance a "Wheel". The best fix is to install a ATS, Ported Shroud.

The wheel CURES SURGE. There are other options for this, such as the ATS Compressor Housing. We sell both and have no reason to make false statements to push you in either direction. THEY BOTH WORK. It is possible that neither cure your surge 100% under extreme conditions. The only time we hear of 100% fix on trucks towing HUGE loads over max GVW or truck pulling has been using BOTH ITEMS. One or the other will cure surge most trucks 100% of the time. The wheel is cheaper and in most cases is all it takes to do the job. The ATS housing works also, but is more expensive and offers no other benefits over the wheel. PERSONAL CHOICE HERE. Choose one or the other. Only a small percentage of trucks will need both.

Put mine in over the weekend. When running it hard before i could get it to shutter, but since I put the wheel in i couldn't get it to shutter. I will know for sure if it will not shutter when i pull my 26' enclosed snowmobile trailer.
