Banks Wastegate

Thinking of putting one on my 02 excursion. My edge chip wire ripped so I'm looking to replace the chip and maybe adding a the banks waste gate. Is it safe what chip does it work well with for safe power. We have a stock trans and do some towing. Nothing extremely heavy but does go over 8k from time to time. I was thinking of the predator, or depends what I can find good for used.

i will also 3rd dp tuner ... but .. you said waste gate well its cool little bit more boost and response ...i had one before i got my turbo but it wont hurt any thing .. some people that i knwo had them didnt liek it for soem reason but i never had a problem with mine .. but if you got the money .. garret or turbonettics .. is the only way to go ..
