The hitch that I used was a Hidden Hitch. I only used the 5th. wheel but you could also use a ball hitch.

It was two seperate pieces.

I'm sure alot of manuf. offer the same set-up.

I can only speak of the one that I used.

I'm sure some others will give their opinions too.

I pull professionally as an RV transporter

and I used a B&W turnover ball gooseneck with a Companion 5th wheel. The 5'er is rated at 18K and the goose is rated at 30K.

Husky Towing (scroll about half way down page) has a stowable goose neck ball system rated for 30K that will mount a 5th wheel hitch in any of several different capacities. The goose neck ball freely rotates to eliminate gooseneck binding.

Husky hitches are available from many RV & Trailer dealers across the US & Canada.

when you take out the b&w is the bed clear? no rail or anything? and is it both a 5th wheel and a gooseneck?

Yes, there is a 2.5" square tube in the bed that the GN ball or the fifth wheel base fit into. You will also have the two hoops for safety chains.

i have the reese pro series and have both the gooseneck and fifth wheel the rails are very low profile and don't really seem to get in the way but if i had to do it again i would go with their signature series being that it just leaves the four rubber grommets that are flush with the bed
